INGREDIENTS


For the burger:
1 sesame burger bun
½ ordinary burger bread (bottom slice, the crust of which is delicately cut)
150 g ground beef
25 ml dehydrated onion flakes (or very finely chopped onion)
50 ml breadcrumbs
75 ml of vegetable oil
2 slices of large pickles
25 ml finely chopped onion
75 ml coarsely chopped iceberg lettuce
1 slice of orange cheese
Salt, pepper to taste
For the sauce:
500 ml of homemade mayo
150 ml relish
25 ml ketchup
25 ml hot dog mustard
1 chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
½ lemon juice

PROCEDURES


For the sauce:
In the bowl, mix all the ingredients
For the burger:
In the bowl, mix the ground beef, the onion flakes, the breadcrumbs, the salt, and the pepper
Shape 2 thin and flat patties (you can use a rolling pin or even, crush the dumpling between 2 plates and exert pressure – as the burger will be very high, it is important to flatten the meat as much as possible before cooking )
In the skillet over medium-high heat with the oil, cook the ground beef patties for about 5 minutes per side
Remove from heat and let stand covered for a few minutes
Toast the bread lightly
Assemble in order: the bottom bread, 25 ml of sauce, half the onion, half the lettuce, the cheese, a dumpling, then the middle bread, 25 ml of the sauce, the rest of the onion, the rest of the lettuce, the pickles, the other dumpling and the bread above
Serve with homemade fries and an extra Gros Marc sauce
